Grassroots leaders in Manaus are occupying the headquarters of the federal environmental agency (IBAMA) to demand six new extractive reserves. Although the state government supports the reserves, IBAMA's regional delegate has blocked the process. Help local groups protect themselves and their development! Urge Hamilton Casara, the President of IBAMA, to create the new reserves in Amazonas state.
