The short explanation of this alert was:
President Bush recently claimed that the way to lower high gas prices is to increase ocean drilling for oil in US waters. This is a foolhardy proposal as it would not only fail to impact prices at the pump but it would put our oceans and coasts at serious risk. Please let President-elect Obama and your representatives in Congress know that new drilling is not the answer.
