Energy efficiency saves consumers money, conserves resources and reduces the global warming pollution created by power plants. Interstate Power and Light, the Iowa subsidiary of Alliant Energy, plans to fall short of efficiency goals set forth by the state. Please use our letter to the editor tool to let the Iowa Utilities Board know that they should require Interstate Power and Light to meet the goal of saving 1.5% of its eletricity.
