UPDATE: Urge the U.S. Government to Condemn Executions in Tibet
Sources from Tibet have confirmed that two Tibetans, Lobsang Gyaltsen and Loyak, were executed in Lhasa on October 20th, 2009 for their alleged involvement in last year's protests. Two more Tibetans were also reportedly executed, including a woman named Penkyi. These are the first known executions of Tibetans since 2003, signaling an alarming escalation in the Chinese government's violent campaign to punish any Tibetan who dares to speak out against Chinese rule. Please send a letter to your Members of Congress asking them to urge the U.S. Government to immediately condemn this travesty of justice.
