The short explanation of this alert was:
Sources from Tibet have confirmed that three Tibetans, Lobsang Gyaltsen, Loyak, and Penkyi were executed in Lhasa on October 20th, 2009 for their alleged involvement in last year's protests. A fourth unidentified Tibetan was also reportedly executed.

These are the first known executions of Tibetans since 2003, signaling an alarming escalation in the Chinese government's violent campaign to punish any Tibetan who dares to speak out against Chinese rule.

Please send a letter to Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon asking him to immediately condemn this travesty of justice.
