The 2009 Iowa Legislature provided initial funding of $3 million to begin track upgrades necessary to bring passenger rail to Davenport, Dubuque and Iowa City from the Midwest hub in Chicago. It is important for the future of the state's economy and environment that our legislators continue to support and fund this service in future sessions. With your help, we can ensure that rail service will continue into Des Moines and other Iowa cities.
