Campaign Unavailable We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit Center for Science in the Public Interest. The short explanation of this alert was: In April, the Public Health and Human Services Committee of the Philadelphia City Council voted unanimously in favor of menu labeling (Ordinance 080167). Next, the full City Council will take up the issue. Please urge your City Council representatives to support Philadelphian’s health and vote in favor of menu labeling. Ask them to keep the policy strong and not weaken it in response to restaurant industry lobbying. The restaurant industry is trying to convince Council Members that the required nutrition information should be provided in formats that customers are unlikely to see and that are hard to use at the point where customers order. Let the Council know that you want nutrition information at chain restaurants that is easy to use and is listed along with prices and other information about what to order; you want it on the menu or menu board.
