The short explanation of this alert was:
On April 8th, China sentenced two Tibetans, Loyak and Lobsang Gyaltsen, to death without reprieve for their alleged involvement in last year's protests in Lhasa. Without a reprieve, the two men could be executed at any time. Tibetans are routinely denied their basic legal rights under Chinese rule, and these harsh sentences are clearly designed to punish and intimidate Tibetans from speaking out.

Please send a letter alerting your government representatives to the situation and calling for their help to stop China from carrying out these executions.
