The U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy submitted its Final Report to President Bush and Congress on September 20th.  Calling for urgent and decisive action on a new national ocean policy, the report, An Ocean Blueprint for the 21st Century, calls for the establishment of a new National Ocean Policy that balances use with sustainability, is based on sound science and educational excellence, and moves toward an ecosystem-based management approach. 

Please ask the President to take action by supporting the recommendations of this Presidential-appointed commission.
