Speakers! Music! Kids’ activities! Rally for the Virginia, the Green New Deal, and a safe climate for our kids to grow up in.
- Alexandria Villaseñor, Teen activist and advocate for #SchoolStrike4Climate. (After staging a school strike every Friday outside the United Nations for four months, 13-year old Alexandria became a principal organizer of the historic youth climate strike on March 15, 2019, which mobilized 1.6M youth from 123 countries.)
- Kristin Hogue, Graduate student in climate studies at Columbia University and mother of Alexandria: on parenting a young climate activist
- VA State Delegate Elizabeth Guzman, patron of the Virginia Green New Deal Resolution. (Learn how the Green New Deal will help transition Virginia to a clean, renewable energy future for our kids!)
- VA State Senator Chap Petersen, chief patron of bill to ban campaign contributions from Dominion Power
- Music by indie rock band M4TR—Music for the Revolution
