Join us to witness the BONCE SHAVE FOR BUNCE - Paul Foster's epic event to raise money for Sally Bunces's Tees Valley Mayoral campaign

My name is Paul Foster, and I’m so inspired by Sally's bid to beat Ben Houchen and become mayor that I’ve decided to shave off my hair and beard to raise funds for the campaign!

The event is being organised by Darlington Green Party, but is open to all of Sally's supporters across the Tees Valley - details of what will happen on the night are below.

Tickets are limited, so if you miss out don't worry, we're planning to stream it on the internet - please email darlingtongreens@gmail.com and we'll send you details so you can watch at home.

I'm collecting for Sally's campaign fund and for St Teresa's Hospice - donation buckets will be available for both on the night. In addition, people can donate online to the Sally 4 Tees Valley Crowdfunder page, and the St Teresa's Hospice Just Giving page.

Event details:

FRIDAY March 22nd 7pm till late – The Quakerhouse, Mechanics Yard, Darlington

Entrance fee - £2 on the door for those with pre-booked tickets.

We’re planning a fun evening for people to socialise with like-minded people and marvel at this amazing spectacle. Limited tickets are available, and there will be a live internet stream for people who aren’t able to come.

My hair will be in ponytails and my beard plaited, ready to cut off and send to The Little Princess Trust who have advised me to go blonde! (I haven't been blonde since I was a small child).

There will be bidding from the audience for the chance to cut off the ponytails, ending with bidding to cut off the beard plait – the person with the final winning bid will have the honour of keeping the plait as a souvenir ... otherwise I'll just bung it in my compost bin!
