1,500 statewide and local elections and ballot initiatives will be decided in 2013 alone. That’s why this year’s National Voter Registration Day is so important, as many of those races will decide city mayors, city council and school board members in Georgia.

We need at least four (4) volunteers to help man tables and to canvass; we will provide training for those who are unfamiliar with process and make it a fun event for all to participate!

Our communities are stronger when we all show up to vote. National Voter Registration Day is a great opportunity to bring friends, family and neighbors into this important civic responsibility. We hope to do with National Voter Registration Day what Earth Day has done for the environmental movement. That is raising awareness and encouraging every American to prepare to exercise their most basic civic duty: Their right to vote!
