Rebels Cate, Trish, Cathy and Louis were arrested as part of a blockade of the Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre in October.

The protest highlighted the hypocrisy of the SA Government partnering with the destructive oil and gas industry, despite recently declaring a climate emergency.

Grandmothers Cate and Trish were arrested on Day 1 of the blockade, charged with loitering after sitting down in front of police officers blocking the building entrance, and refusing to move.

Cathy and Louis were arrested on Day 2 of the blockade. Louis was charged with disorderly behaviour for jumping the police barricade at the western entrance and attempting to reach the door.

Cathy attempted to enter the Convention Centre using an exhibition ticket for the event but was refused entry. They were charged with failing to cease loitering, after sitting down in front of the doors.
