Day laborers have always been targeted by immigration agents and border patrol while they look for work in the Home Depot parking lots. We are making a community call out to recruit volunteers to help monitor potential enforcement actions at several Home Depots across San Bernardino and Riverside counties, including the City of Pomona.

This is specifically to help the day laborers who look for work at Home Depots and other day laborer corners. This is not a regular rapid response network, because there is a lot more to know about what happens at day laborer corners, which is why you will be trained and incorporated into our volunteer organizing structure.

We have developed an organizing structure that you will be plugged into which is part of our ongoing organizing work to defend and expand the rights of day laborers in Pomona and the Inland Empire.
