A formal grievance has been filed against the Lake Pend Oreille School District to halt the relocation of Lake Pend Oreille High School (LPOHS) to portable units behind the middle school, and to demand the immediate reinstatement of the high school's elective offerings.
We believe the rationale provided by the district is fundamentally flawed and part of a calculated effort to eventually liquidate and sell the valuable LPOHS property. This grievance has been formally submitted to the school board, the Idaho Department of Education, local media outlets, and the professional organizations responsible for overseeing district and school board governance.
