The Texas Action Network (TexAN) uses e-mail to put YOU in touch with the President, national and state legislators and other elected officials and decision-makers when they're considering proposals that affect Texas environmental quality. All you need to join is an email address. TexAN's coalition of conservation organizations will target issues and design "action alerts"

TexAN is a collaborative effort among environmental, conservation and other public interest organizations throughout the state to educate and mobilize their membership utilizing a state of the art electronic action alert system.

It is TexAN's goal to provide citizens with a powerful means for getting their collaborative message out to elected officials, administrative decision makers, and leaders in business and industry.
