Call Congress: Block the Bombs

Updated 2.26.26

Since October 2023, the United States has sent more than $30 billion in taxpayer-funded weapons to Israel that it has used to carry out its genocidal campaign against Palestinians in Gaza.

Now, as Israel continues to commit genocide through near-daily killings and blocking humanitarian aid, we must demand our lawmakers stop enabling these atrocities.

The Block the Bombs Act is the only bill in Congress that would proactively block the Trump administration from delivering more weapons to Israel. If enacted into law, this bill would prevent the delivery of major US weapons such as bombs, tank rounds, and artillery shells that have been used for the mass murder of Palestinians in Gaza. Since its introduction, more than 60 Members of Congress have signed on.

This week, a new bill titled the “Ceasefire Compliance Act of 2026” was introduced into the House by Rep. Sean Casten. Instead of ending weapons deliveries to Israel, the new bill would only impose certain restrictions on weapons AFTER they are already delivered to Israel and deployed against Palestinians—and even that limited step would only take place if the Trump administration certifies that Israel is failing to meet certain conditions.

This is essentially "Block the Bombs" vs. "Send the Bombs."

With the renewed attention on U.S. funded weapons for Israel, we must use this opportunity to insist that our representatives support the clear-cut Block the Bombs Act to block weapons before they are used to commit war crimes, rather than wait for the war crimes to happen (again).

Call your Representative and urge them to cosponsor H.R.3565, the Block the Bombs Act. Every call is counted.
