Rally Against F-35 Manufacturing in Cambridge

F-35 Day of Action

November 16 is a national day of action on the doorsteps of manufacturers involved in the F-35 supply chain across Canada.

We need everyone to come out to the rally on Saturday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. outside PCC Aerostructures’ Centra facility on the Kitchener-Cambridge border (24 Cherry Blossom Road, Cambridge) to expose this local company’s role in equipping fighter jets that are bombing Gaza and Lebanon, and to demand a two-way arms embargo on Israel.

Our local MPs claim that they are “unaware” of Canada’s arms exports to Israel, yet Valerie Bradford and Bryan May toured the Centra facility in February 2023 and praised the “wonderful” work on components for the F-35 fighter jets—which also happens to be Israel’s most advanced warplane that they are using to bomb Gaza and Lebanon.

Let’s stand up against complicity in genocide!

Local complicity

In Waterloo Region alone, at least six facilities are manufacturing parts or otherwise contributing to the F-35 supply chain. Our local MPs may claim that they are “unaware” of Canada’s arms exports to Israel, yet Valerie Bradford and Bryan May toured the Centra facility in February 2023 to see their work on components for F-35 fighter jets. These components are sold to the US, and the US sells F-35s to Israel. We must stand up to their lies and willful ignorance. On November 16, we’ll be rallying outside Centra to expose them as a company—and Canada as a country—for their undeniable complicity in Israel’s violence.

Tips for attending

  • This is a family-friendly event. The protest will take place outside the factory, with the goal of bringing attention to Canadian complicity in the genocide in Gaza. We will NOT be attempting to block or shut down the factory.
  • Instead of parking at Centra, park on Saltsman Drive, take public transit, or try nearby businesses that are closed – avoid any with 'no trespassing' signs!
  • Dress for the weather: Bundle up if it’s cold, as you may be standing still for a while. Bring snacks and water.
  • Bring signs! This rally is to raise awareness of local involvement in the F-35 supply chain and demand an arms embargo no. Bring a sign that highlights this for drivers passing by and everyone who sees photos and news footage later!
  • Invite your friends! Share this page or @palestinesolidaritykw's Instagram posts to spread the word.
