January Educate Congress
In December, PDA activists delivered letters to more than 300 House and Senate offices. Our national team followed up with faxes and phone calls.
These letter drops and calls take little time, and have tremendous impact. We're gaining new cosponsors for legislation. Join the movement! Contact Conor for more information and to report back after your successful letter drop.

In January , many of us gather with friends and family to celebrate the beginning of a new year. This month, we'll urge members of the House and Senate to join with People Demanding Action as we work to promote peace, reverse or halt unwise policies, and protect the climate as well as American jobs and families. Specifically to:
(Senate and House) As concerned, informed Americans, we urge you to vote no on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and any other multinational corporate / commercial agreement that would export U.S. jobs and hurt our families, while elevating special interests to quasi-sovereign status. The full text of TTP is now public, revealing that most of the agreement has nothing to do with trade. Its investor dispute resolution provisions would empower unelected international commissions to undermine local, state, and federal safeguards that protect consumers, employees, and the environment. Stand up for your constituents. Vote against and speak out against the TPP and all special interest deals.
