About twenty protesters with signs, beside the road in front of a Tesla dealership.

Join us to peacefully picket outside of Tesla's Wexford location! We have been showing up every Saturday at 11am, and picketing along Perry Highway, in front of the Wexford Tesla location. Note that if you are closer to Bridgeville, you can find our sister protest happening simultaneously, but at Tesla's Bridgeville location. See this page to sign up.

Here's what you should know:

Dress warmly. Bring signs! Messages that can be seen and read by passing traffic are best. If you do not have your own sign, we may have materials that you can use to make one.

In previous weeks, most attendees parked behind Playground World. (here) Because this is private property, it is possible that someone could ask us to move our cars out of their parking lot. However, that has not happened on previous protests, so I am currently recommending that folks do that again. The easement for the road does allow us to protest beside the road, (within 25 feet) regardless of parking issues that could arise.

People have been asked not to park in the gravel lot across Gateway Ave.

The owner(s) of Playground World has indicated that protesters are not welcome under their awning. Since we are specifically targeting Tesla, it would be good to comply.

The police have requested that people not block traffic, particularly as cars enter the parking lot from the highway. If you can avoid standing on the pavement, that will be helpful to us.

It is likely that there will be counter-protesters. I recommend that you keep some distance between yourself and any counter-protesters. Don't respond to provocations. Feel free to record video of any interactions, in order to document them. Rest assured that their activities are not helping to sell any cars.

If you want to avoid having video or photos of your face show up on the internet, I recommend that you wear a mask. Regardless, you may want to wear a mask in order to divert unwanted attention on others who do so.

We have typically been picketing until around 1pm. I am willing to continue past that, if there is interest.

Finally, I have a Google folder with resources for printing flyers for events at both Wexford and Bridgeville. It can be found at:
