Host Guidelines - Lead Up Events for the Peoples Climate March

Thank you for signing up to host a lead up event for the Peoples Climate March. You can put any type of event on this page including art builds, planning meetings, and organizing events that are happening now through April 29th.

We hope in addition to your other plans, you'll host an art build sometime between April 8-16. We'll be inviting everyone who signed up for the march to attend an event near them.

Whether you're just getting started or you've been planning for a while, these events will help you engage new people, do outreach, and get new volunteers.

Click "okay" to begin creating a page for your event. From this page, people will be able to RSVP, get updates from the event coordinators, and invite their friends to join as well.

If you don't have all the information for your event decided -- that's okay. You can save your event page as a draft and come back to it, or include a "TBD" (but don't forget to update it as soon as you can).

We’ll give you all the tools you need to host a successful event, plus we’ll be there to support you every step of the way. Step one is to decide on your event details (when, where, etc) and create your page. Then we'll send you a toolkit to help you get rolling.

The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
Add Banner Image (optional)

Upload an image or banner below. Your image should be 1500px wide by any height (600px is suggested). It will be scaled to a final size of 750px wide.

Okay!
This is shown to people before they RSVP. Let them know what the event will be like and why they should attend.
