Host Guidelines - December: Global Month of #NoDAPL Action

Thank you for hosting an action! The system we are using to track folks actions is Action Network. They'll ask you to create an account and the reason for this is that by creating an account you will have access to your list of RSVP that the nodaplsolidarity.org site generates. Please continue to do your own organizing and outreach for your event! Some people might find your action on the national solidarity site, but assume that many more will find your action through you organizing efforts local and regionally.

We'll be sending out info and alerts to everyone who has signed up to stay informed, and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or need help, advice or encouragement for your action.

The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
URL of where attendees can attend the virtual event, such as a Zoom link. This will only be shown to event attendees via email after RSVPing.

We'll stop collecting RSVPs once this number is hit. Leave blank or at 0 for no limit. Whole numbers only.

Edit Form

  • Add questions by dragging from the right to your form on the left. Select a pre-built question from the question library, then drag to use one.
  • Question library includes core fields like first name and email address and custom questions you've created in the Questions & Custom Fields section of the Start Organizing menu.
  • Edit questions by clicking on them in your form to change their names, labels, and placeholders, and make them required. Questions from the library have limited options.
  • Re-order and remove questions by dragging them in your form or out of your form to remove. Some questions (like email address) cannot be removed.
  • Save by clicking 'Save Form' to close the form builder and preview your work. You can always edit your questions later.
