Please join us for the fourth installment in our Peace & Justice Conversations Series: Combatants For Peace.

Combatants for Peace was established in 2006 when Israeli and Palestinian former combatants, people who had taken an active role in the conflict, laid down their weapons and decided to work together to end the occupation and build a peaceful future for both peoples. Together they engage in nonviolent civil resistance against the occupation, using protests, sit-ins and marches as tools of resistance. To spread their message, they share their personal stories of transformation with their communities on both sides. At this event we will be sharing some of their stories with you as well as introducing the organization and their work. Some of you may already know them since NH Peace Action has cosponsored programs in NH featuring Combatants for Peace.

The program will be presented by four local organizers who have been inspired by their NH visits to join the American Friends of Combatants for Peace organizing team: Amy Antonucci, Joel Berman, Nancy Jo Chabot, and Scott Dickman.

COVID 19 has brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility. How do we want to live in the world? What do we value? How can we make the changes we've been yearning for? NH Peace Action has been engaged in working for change for decades. We'd like to take this moment to bring you into some conversations about issues and options for the future. Our new online abilities make it possible to come together across the state more easily to connect, learn and work for peace and justice. This bi-weekly Zoom series hosted by NHPA members will offer different topics of discussion for each session. Be part of the conversation!

You will receive Zoom link and instructions with your RSVP.  (Make sure to scroll down past the green "Thanks for your support" block to see the Zoom link)
