The ‘Show Your Heart’ map is to enable you as a local group, to demonstrate community support for a more compassionate approach to refugees and to advertise your event to the public. We encourage our coalition members to post events they are organising in their communities to show solidarity with refugees!
Please make sure to include:
- A link to your event. This could be to an Eventbrite, a Facebook event, your website, or anything that will help the public to find out more information about your event.
- The date of your event.
- The location and meeting place of your event.
- Your event start time.
- A description of your event.
- Contact details so that members of the public who wish to join can get further information. This will be shared publicly so make sure you are happy with the details you choose to provide.
And of course, publicise your event on social media using #TogetherWithRefugees so we can retweet it and use as many orange hearts as possible to show solidarity with refugees!
