Host Guidelines - May Day of Resistance

May Day will be a day of resistance for workers in Seattle and across the West Coast.

Worker organizations, immigrant rights groups, student groups, community organizations are calling on supporters to walk out, shut down, and march on to mark May Day 2017.

Are you ready to call for a walk out, a shut down, or a local march on May Day 2017? Let us know who/what/when/where and we'll send out an action kit and help you reach supporters to make your event and the whole day a success!

(All of these events are of course also in support of & in coordination with the longstanding march for Immigrants Rights & Workers Rights hosted by El Comité in Seattle.)

The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
