La Red de Solidaridad de Inmigrantes en Washington está organizando Building Beyond Today una convención para jóvenes inmigrantes entre las edades 16 a 30 del 12 al 14 de abril en Yakima, Washington. Jóvenes indocumentados y familias de estatus migratorio mixto, personas con TPS, refugiados, con asilo o que han sido afectados por la agenda anti-inmigrante de la administración de Trump, estarán juntos. Serán entrenados en esfuerzos claves para construir solidaridad entre los grupos de estudiantes, crearan estrategias, una dirección para el movimiento de inmigrantes en nuestro estado, y tomaran acción para exigir los derechos de nuestra comunidad.  

No hay un cargo para asistir.  La comida y alojamiento son gratis, hay transportación disponible. La convención iniciará el viernes 12 de abril a las 5 pm y terminará el domingo 14 de abril a las 3 pm.  Recibirá un correo electrónico dos semanas antes de la convención con los detalles del evento, se le asignará un compañerx de cuarto basado en su género.  Si tiene preguntas por favor mándenos un correo electrónico a info@waisn.org

The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network is hosting the 2019 Building Beyond Today Immigrant Youth Convening in Yakima, Washington on April 12-14th.  Undocumented youth and youth with mixed status families, with refugee, TPS, asylum status or those whose families are directly impacted by the administration’s anti-immigrant agenda (ages 16-30) from all across the state will come together. They will train each other on key efforts, build solidarity among groups statewide, strategize collectively on the direction of our immigrant rights movement, and take action demanding for the rights of our community.  

No registration fee.  Food and lodging will be provided, transportation accommodations available.  The convening will start on Friday April 12th at 5pm and end on Sunday April 14th at 3pm.
