Black Friday Free Store/Walmart Workers Solidarity Event

Start: Friday, November 29, 201310:00 AM

In the spirit of giving and mutual aid, and in solidarity with striking Walmart workers, we will be holding our second annual Black Friday Free Store event in Walmarts parking lot, continuing the tradition we started last year with our "100% Off For The 99%!" event.

We strongly encourage everyone to bring items (no matter how much,or how little) such as toys, cold weather gear, food, or anything you can think of that people may need, and that you'd like to give in our free exchange. If we don't have stuff, we can't give stuff! .We will also be informing consumers about Walmart's unjust labor practices and how the chain drives locally owned businesses out of existence.

We will converge at 9:30 AM at the entrance on Middle Country Rd (RT. 25) and set up our free store in a TBA location nearby, bring banners, signs, flyers and anything that will add to our action!

Come out to our event! OUR Walmart workers have been speaking out for change and we're taking to the streets on Black Friday. Don't forget that it's late this year -- Friday, November 29th.

And don't forget to invite your friends and family- the more the merrier! Just share the link on Facebook, Twitter or by email.
