Waco Friends of Peace/Climate is hosting its 2nd Annual Climate Change Art Exhibit from Aug 29 until Sept 29, at the Waco Winery, Waco Texas. The show uses art to educate viewers about the global crisis of anthropogenic climate change, and highlights the urgency of converting to a fossil free economy. The exhibit includes paintings, sculpture, mixed media, video, photography, and even furniture.                                 On Sept 15, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Waco Winery, the reception will be held. Many artists will attend and graded prizes and the people's choice awards will be distributed. A short presentation on climate science will be provided along with live music by singer/songwriter Katie Stewart. Admission is FREE. Free refreshments will be served.   Complimentary handouts detailing myriad actions individuals can take to combat climate change will be also provided.
