As you may know, our union recently came to terms on an agreement with the Rutgers administration that, if ratified, would involve workshare furloughs for most faculty and a robust extension funding plan for graduate students on TA/GA lines. There will be a membership vote on this agreement on Thursday, April 1.
We are hosting a Newark chapter town hall meeting on TUESDAY, MARCH 30, at 7:30 PM. The town hall will cover the details of this agreement -- how it will impact you and what it means for the union in the short term and over the long term. For those of you who are not available to participate live in the town hall, we will make a recording of the meeting available for later viewing through Thursday.
