Hey Illinois Democrats!

On November 5th the 47th Ward Democratic Organization is partnering with Young Dems of Illinois, Young Dems of Chicago, and Young Chicago Lakefront for a petition circulation Day of Action event!

Petition season is important as every individual who seeks office must first collect a certain number of signatures from registered voters in order to make it onto the ballot, and the number of gathered signatures represents the level of support for each candidate. Come join us circulate petitions on November 5th and be on the front lines of democracy in the #1 voter turnout Ward in Cook County!

Come listen to 47th Ward endorsed candidates speak, enjoy local treats  and then join us for a Happy Hour at O'Donovan's Bar afterwards!

Event Schedule:

2 pm - Gather at the 47th Ward Dems Office (2234 W Irving Park Rd.)

2:15 pm - Endorsed Candidate Speeches

2:30 pm - Circulate petitions in the 47th Ward community

5 pm - Petition drop off Happy Hour at O'Donovan's Bar
