Host Guidelines - Mueller Testimony Watch Parties

Thanks for signing up to host a Mueller Testimony Watch Party on Wednesday, July 24th! People across the country are marking their calendar for a historic moment. Putting a watch party together can be easy if we get started with the planning process early and work together to spread the word.

The first step is to choose a time and venue. A few suggestions would be a local library, community centers, churches, or even a home or community theatre. Anywhere with a TV or projector should work! As far as choosing a time, that's up to you! The testimony will likely start mid-morning, and go throughout the day. You're welcome to host your watch party live during the hearing - or join the Mueller Book Club for our Post-Testimony Analysis scheduled for 8:30 PM ET that same night (Wednesday, July 24th).

The second step is to create your event on the Action Network. Action Network is a useful platform that can help you communicate with your attendees.

Lastly, we need to think about how to recruit community members to join your watch party! We've created a Watch Party Host Guide that contains outreach materials and tips for recruitment. You'll be provided a link to the Host Guide after you register your event!

Thanks again for signing up to host a Mueller Testimony Watch Party! We're looking forward to working with you!
