Join metro Detroit youth from 482Forward and our partners at Detroit Disability Power to honor LGBTQ+ Pride Month! Youth will host a panel discussion and workshops focused on topics such as: queer joy, how to be a better adult ally, mental health and holistic healing, legislative advocacy, and the intersection of disability/gender/sexuality.

LGBTQ+ youth and allies, as well as adults who are LGBTQ+ or allies are encouraged to attend! This will be a great conversation for young people and adults who want to build more support and connection, and who are ready to fight back against hateful legislation, book bans, and targeting of queer joy.

We ask that you are respectful and accepting of queer folks, and come to this conversation with a learning mindset in order to attend. You will be kicked out and potentially banned from future 482Forward events if you harass any presenters or attendees.
