This September 14, we are calling on our community members and allies to VOTE in the special election! This year, we carried the torch forward in our struggle towards justice fought on the ground relentlessly, despite repeated interpersonal and systemic attacks attempting to politicize our pain and divide our communities.

To turn out the vote and ground us in our power, AAPI FORCE-EF will be holding a cultural night of performances in our  #AAPIpower to the Polls Volunteer Launch Event! We are dedicating this night to draw attention to the special election, with special performances by spoken word artist Will Giles, Ariana Basco, and speeches from members in our communities.

We will end the night with a call to action (literally)! AAPI FORCE-EF will provide training and an opportunity to phone bank AAPI voters in CA to get them to vote this September 14th.

Our communities have been targeted by misinformation and painted as viruses and scapegoats.  Instead of funding going to folks that need the support, millions of dollars are being spent on this rushed recall. This September, we’re heading to the polls to empower our communities and keep us safe. We will protect the progress our movement has made, and continue to honor the journeys we’ve taken to secure more rights and resources for immigrant, refugee, and working class communities.
