Join us for a Citizens Cymru Listening event that brings together schools, colleges, universities, Student Unions, mosques, churches, CICs and other community organisations from across the city to listen to one another on the issues that matter to our communities. The event is the beginning of the development a common Citizens Cymru agenda as we look towards the Senedd elections in 2026.

This interactive workshop will include:

- A how-to session on listening for issues in your community

- Citizens Cymru Youth Leadership Academy participants sharing from their own listening

- One-to-ones and group discussions with others from across the city

- An overview of our plan to get communities a seat at the table for making change in Wales

- Commitments to take collective action as Citizens Cymru Wales

After this event we’ll be encouraging you to do further listening in your community, and later this year we will bring together organisations from across Wales to mandate our agenda.

Over the last 10 years, Citizens Cymru have trained thousands of community leaders across Wales in the method of Community Organising, leading to campaign wins such as the first halal Nandos in Cardiff, the real Living Wage for all careworkers in Wales, and the resettlement of refugees in places like Bangor, Fishguard and Cowbridge.
