Abolition Working Group meetings are held every other week on Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm. Please join us!

Meetings are currently hybrid, with in-person option at Milwaukee IWW (814 E Center St). Weather permitting, some instances may be moved to an outdoors in-person location. Individual events will be updated if their location changes.

About Abolition Working Group
The Abolition Working Group was formed in response to the police murder of George Floyd in May of 2020. In connecting national issues to issues here in Milwaukee, the DSA voted to work towards defunding MPD, with the ultimate goal of abolishing MPD. The working group is open to all members with a shared interest in defunding the police and rebuilding our community.
