ACT Spring Fundraiser

The fundraiser is organized by Alliance of Carolinians Together Against Coal Ash, a powerful coalition of North Carolinians impacted by Duke Energy’s coal ash.

Event details and description:
- This is event is FREE and open to all who RSVP in the box to the right of this page. Food and drink will be provided.
- The fundraiser event will begin with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. At this time folks will be able to get a first glimpse at our silent auction items that will be set up around the room. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase and there will be ongoing silent auction tables set up for the duration of the event.
- We will start our evening ceremony with a celebration of coal ash community heroes. Awards will be given to ACT Against Coal Ash community members for their excellence in advocacy for their communities and the statewide Alliance.The event will end with an announcement of auction and raffle winners.
- Auction and raffle winners who are not present to accept their prize will be responsible for the shipping and handling cost to receive the items.
Funds collected will be used to provide well testing and relief to communities impacted by coal ash.
ACT Against Coal Ash formed in July 2015 in response to the tragic coal ash situation that plagues our state.
ACT Against Coal Ash believe that as neighbors of Duke’s coal ash, we best understand the dangers to health, property, and the environment that the toxic waste poses and that we should be consulted during every step of the coal ash cleanup process in North Carolina.
