This Action Day is the last stage of our long campaign towards the 1st May County Council elections, with the final short campaign then commencing in March.

The Croome Division seat has been held by our Green councillor Martin Allen since the last elections in 2021. Martin lives in Kempsey and is well know in the area, having worked hard for residents over the last four years . However, we know that the Conservatives, who have held the seat before, will be fighting hard to regain it.  

The elections this year are especially important with the need to get as many Green councillors as possible before the moves to become a unitary authority

We will be leafleting the whole of Kempsey and its surrounding villages. If we have enough volunteers to cover this we will also be doing some doorknocking, having a brief conversation with residents to gather any concerns .

For those preferring to leaflet in company, we can arrange to pair you with another volunteer to share a larger round

Refreshments: The Talbot Inn, where we are meeting, opens at 1200 each day and does  hot and cold drinks and pub bites and also full lunches.
