Acton, MA Climate Strike Standout sponsored by the Assabet River Valley chapter of the Green-Rainbow Party. Friday September 20th, 7 AM – 9 AM Kelley's Corner, Routes 27 (Main St.) and 111 (Massachusetts Ave), Acton, MA. We will be standing out from 7 a.m to 9 a.m. in support of climate strikers and the real Green New Deal: an end to investment in fossil fuel and a transition to 100% clean renewable energy by 2030, including retrofitting our existing infrastructure for energy efficiency, regenerative agriculture, low/no-cost public transit, habitat preservation and restoration, Just Transition job creation, and municipal and worker ownership of energy systems, funded by reductions in military spending and an equitable tax system.
