We often don’t take the time to enjoy the things we have – things like good food, summer Sundays, and of course our friends and family. In the spirit of celebration for our hard won gains, come spend an afternoon enjoying the good things in life with us at Peninsula Park (700 N Rosa Parks Way)!

AFSCME 189 members and their families are invited to enjoy a catered lunch from Taqueria de Leon, lawn games (giant connect four anyone?), and an afternoon of solidarity and community with your union family.

Please RSVP with how many will be in your party, and if a vegetarian alternative will be necessary. (If you don’t RSVP you can still come, but it helps us make sure we order enough food for everyone.)
