Speaking Out and Taking Creative Action Against Anti-Asian Violence during the COVID-19 Pandemic, for Young Black, Indigenous, and People of Color

Start: Wednesday, April 22, 2020 4:00 PM

End: Wednesday, April 22, 2020 5:30 PM

Violence against people of Asian heritage has surged during the COVID-19 pandemic, deepening the ways Black, Indigenous, and other people of color have been targeted by racism. This interactive workshop will create space for young people of color to come together and support each other to heal from the ways people of Asian heritage are being targeted by violence during this pandemic, and use art to find and express hope, possibility, and our vision for the world that we actually want and need in this moment. This workshop is organized by Sustaining All Life/United to End Racism.
