Do you ever wonder:

  • Why ageism is so entrenched in our society, including among older people?
  • Who makes a profit by convincing us that aging is all downhill?
  • Is it possible to work together to end ageism, or do we just need to accept it?

Join us for a conversation with Tracey Gendron, gerontologist and author of the newly-released Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It. You'll hear more about these topics, and many others, and there will be lots of time for your questions as well. We LOVE Tracey's belief that:

Aging is knowledge. Aging is confidence. Aging is perspective and freedom.

You'll leave both more knowledgeable and feeling more empowered to address the ism that eventually will affect us all.

This author conversation is being co-hosted by Changing the Narrative, the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence, Denver Public Library and NextFifty Initiative.
