Al Gore's Climate Reality

In June, Monica Nelson attended Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Training, in Brisbane, run by the man himself. Monica will be sharing Al Gore’s Climate Reality presentation, targeted at an Asia-Pacific audience, tweaked to favour an audience in Aotearoa.
We are challenged with three questions as we go forward into a future with a destabilised climate:
Must we change?
Can we change?
Will we change?
Yes, yes, and….well, that last answer is up to us?

This talk is designed for those who are engaged with environmental concerns and who are wanting to understand the climate situation, implications, and solutions better. This talk will be a recurring presentation to help spread this knowledge throughout our community.
We acknowledge that renowned climate scientist James Renwick is speaking in Mapua on Friday, August 9th, which may pose as a conflict for those of you in the wider Tasman region. James Renwick will be speaking in Nelson on Saturday 10th.
