The Annual Meeting includes annual reports, officer candidate statements, work plan presentations, a bylaws proposals discussion, and a resolutions discussion.

Officer and Delegate Elections

The following Milwaukee DSA officer positions are open for a 2-year term (June 1, 2025 to June 1, 2027): Co-Chair, Secretary, Education Officer, At-Large Officer, and Harassment & Grievance Officer.

The following positions are open for a 1-year term (June 1, 2025 to June 1, 2026): YDSA At-Large Officer and Discord moderator.

We will also be electing nine delegates and one alternates to represent Milwaukee DSA at the 2025 DSA National Convention.

Nominees will be heard from at the Annual Meeting.

Voting for chapter officers begins after the May 17 Annual Meeting. The voting window and method are described in the 2025 Annual Meeting Rules.

Bylaws Proposals

The Annual Meeting will include a presentation on bylaws proposals. Proposed bylaws amendments will be added to the Annual Meeting agenda as the Executive Committee receives them.

Voting on the proposed bylaws amendments begins after the May 17 Annual Meeting.

Work Plan Presentations

Per Article 8 of the Milwaukee DSA bylaws, Working Groups and Committees will present work plans explaining their goals, strategy, and estimated timeline for the year. Members vote whether to adopt each work plan either in the meeting or electronically following the conclusion of the meeting.
