XR Vic Arts rebels invite all creative rebels old and new to join us for an afternoon of creative and rebellious collaboration. If you’re interested in getting involved with the Arts mandate to “create a beautiful rebellion” but don’t know where to start, this is the right place! If you have been hard at work already and have tips to share we need you too!

When: Third Sunday of every month, 1pm-3pm

Where: Barkly Room, J Studios, Fitzroy North

Why take part? To get some face time with fellow creative rebels to share ideas, projects, concerns and have a good old fashioned crafternoon – rebel style.

What is this event about?

A chance to meet members of the local and sub Arts Working Groups to:

• workshop ideas for actions or get advice

• to check out the resources we already have that you may want to borrow or replicate for your own actions

• to reach out for guidance and inspiration with your ideas

• to collaborate with others on an idea you have or recruit for a creative action you are developing

What will we do?

• Lend a hand on an existing project

• Get help making banners,

• To find the folks who can answer all your Arts related questions and

• To share your own experiences, ideas and reflections.
  

What should I bring on the day?

Your most curly questions, wildest ideas, banner supplies (help projecting words and images will be available), a plate to share and your best collaborative and creative vibes.

These will be informal drop-in sessions designed to give creative rebels a chance to hang out, get to know each other, plan, collaborate and get busy making this rebellion beautiful!

Travelling from afar?

There is parking at the space and on the street. Show up early to join us for a yummy lunch, and get ready for an afternoon of crafting.
