Get Creative

• For the week of action, we need banners, placards and props. We'll have resources, paint, brushes, inspiration and suggestions for your placards. If you can, bring fabric or card to paint on (cardboard boxes is fine)

Get Ready for Action

• NVDA (non-violent direct action) training is essential preparation for taking part in XR action. It covers what is nonviolence and why it's essential; how to keep yourself and other rebels safe and secure; our relationship with the police, how to de-escalate difficult situations and understanding risk of arrest, and more...

System collapse and the zombie apocalypse!

• The risk of system collapse is very real and will be the focus of Wednesday's action. However, we'll be giving it a lighter twist with a Halloweenish zombie flavour. Monday 28th - Flood theme

• What to bring on the day: life jackets or extreme wet weather gear, buoyancy aids, wetsuit and flippers. Or bring your umbrellas, waterproofs, wellies or souwesters... or water damaged family photos.

Tuesday 29th - Food shortages and global impacts

• What to bring on the day: normal clothes, bowl and spoon

Wednesday 30th - System collapse

• What to bring/wear on the day: Business attire, zombie facepaint
