Join Seamless Bay Area, East Bay Transit Riders Union, Transport Oakland, SPUR, BikeEastBay, Streets for People, and East Bay YIMBY for a candidate forum on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 6:00pm PST. With the November election approaching rapidly, multiple BART Transit Board positions are up for for reelection. The leaders who fill these positions will have a major impact on transit safety, rider equity, and green transportation across the Bay Area in the years to come.

This forum will focus on the race for District 6 (in districts 2, 4, and 8, incumbents are running unopposed). On Thursday, we will be joined by District 6 candidates Liz Ames and Lance Nishihira!

This forum will give members of the public a chance to hear from both BART Board candidates and ask questions concerning their platform, experience, and perspective on transit and mobility. We hope to see you there!
