We’re kicking off Bay State Bike Month with an afternoon of community, celebration, and action and we’d love for you to join us! This year, it will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 1-4pm at Aeronaut Brewing in Somerville.

Organized by Cambridge Bicycle Safety, this event brings together advocates, neighbors, and friends from across Greater Boston to celebrate all things biking. We’ll have live music, food from local vendors, a bike valet, and a group bike ride ending at the event. There will also be a variety of local organizers tabling at the event, some of whom will be leading “How to” advocacy workshops on building safer streets and stronger communities. It’s a great chance to learn, connect, and take action, all while enjoying good food, great company, and the lively atmosphere at Aeronaut Brewing.

Critical Mass will lead a bike ride starting at the Boston Public Library at Copley at 11:45am. The ride rolls exactly at noon and ends at Aeronaut at 1pm.

All are welcome! Attendees must be 21+ or accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Comenzamos el Mes de la Bicicleta en Bay State con una tarde de comunidad, celebración y acción, ¡y nos encantaría que nos acompañaras! Este año, se celebrará el domingo 4 de mayo de 13:00 a 16:00 h en Aeronaut Brewing en Somerville.

Organizado por Cambridge Bicycle Safety, este evento reúne a defensores, vecinos y amigos de todo el área metropolitana de Boston para celebrar el ciclismo. Habrá música en vivo, comida de vendedores locales, servicio de valet parking y un paseo en bicicleta grupal que finalizará en el evento. También habrá una variedad de organizadores locales presentes, algunos de los cuales impartirán talleres prácticos de defensa para construir calles más seguras y comunidades más fuertes. Es una gran oportunidad para aprender, conectar y actuar, mientras disfrutas de buena comida, excelente compañía y el animado ambiente de Aeronaut Brewing.
