Donald Trump and the Republican Congress are pushing to ram through an agenda which takes health care away from 30 million Americans, privatizes Medicare, and defunds Planned Parenthood, while giving tax cuts to their millionaire and billionaire friends. VERMONT WILL NOT BE IMMUNE FROM THESE NATIONAL CHANGES:there will be tremendous fallout for our economy and state budget, for our system of community health centers (keys to health care access in our rural state), and for Vermont patients and their families. This is unacceptable. Our country must go forward and join the rest of the industrialized world and make health care a right, not a privilege. We should be moving towards a Medicare for All system instead of limiting coverage. That is why its critical we organize and demonstrate.
