Join Black Political Cultivation on Thursday, February 16th at 7pm MST for our virtual event: We Got the Power!

Lift your voice to honor our heritage and secure our future! In celebration of Black History Month, we are gathering the Black community in Arizona virtually to reflect on what makes us powerful as a people. Please join us for this impactful discussion as we explore old and new ways to leverage our political power to improve our communities!

Our events are always an affirming and relaxed space where you have the opportunity to reflect and share experiences and ideas with other Black folks in Arizona.

Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link via email on the day of the event!

Direct any questions or accessibility requests to: admin@bpcaz.org

We accept requests for translation during our events -- please reach out to admin@bpcaz.org at least 3 days prior to the event so we can secure a translator (earlier the better, please!) Otherwise virtual events are conducted in English with computer-generated subtitles.

About us:

Black Political Cultivation AZ (BPCAZ) is grassroots 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that is all-Black, queer, femme, and nonbinary-led, focused on political empowerment for Black folks and Arizonans of all marginalized identities. Black Political Cultivation AZ is a new political home for Black folks unassociated with the broken two-party system, and is safe for all identities and backgrounds, including: LGBTQ+, religious, immigrants, refugees, low income, disabled, neurodivergent, drug users, formerly incarcerated. Our politics is people-centered and focused on improving our everyday lives!

We are flexing our passion in elections, organizing, and public policy work to dismantle the systems that categorize our vibrant identities as targets and keep our people poor and caged. Join us today by following us on social media and sharing with your community, participating in our events, and donating to power our work.

BPCAZ firmly believes in Disability Justice and Inclusion, meaning we embrace the needs of everyone to be able to attend and participate. For our virtual events, AI-generated subtitles of spoken dialogue are provided via Zoom.
