Join us on March 10th at 7pm, for a conversation with writer, journalist, and filmmaker, Ben Norton.

The Trump administration accelerated the hybrid war on the people of Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba to bring them heel, at the cost of great suffering in these countries, but it failed. In 2019, the US engineered the lithium coup in Bolivia which deposed the popular socialist government of Evo Morales. A year later the people of Bolivia overwhelmingly elected the Movement for Socialism back to power, bravely resisting severe repression by the coup government. Latin America is being swept by a popular wave of rejection of neoliberalism in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Haiti, and Peru. How would President Biden respond to these volatile political developments? Will he continue with the failed policies of economic terrorism and coups during the time of the gravest global health crisis of our life time? How do we secure peaceful relations and mutual respect rather than continued US domination?

Ben Norton joins us on March 10th at 7pm to discuss these issues. Ben has deep knowledge about Latin America where he has been living and reporting from for years.
